Careers in EPPWS
A diverse undergraduate degree program is offered with five options that allow students to tailor their program for careers in the commercial sector, such as agricultural consulting and pest management or for careers with county, state, or federal agencies as research technicians, land managers, Extension agents and more. Our graduate degrees in Agricultural Biology prepare students for careers with government agencies, academic research, and industry.

Accessing Student Employment Opportunities through Handshake
Handshake is an excellent platform for discovering student employment opportunities at New Mexico State University (NMSU).
To begin, visit my.nmsu.edu and log in using your NMSU credentials. Locate and select the Handshake card from your dashboard to access the platform.
Once logged in, you will find a navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on the “Jobs” tab to view available employment opportunities both within NMSU and in the surrounding community.
If you wish to view only NMSU-specific job listings, select “Search jobs” at the top of the page. This will allow you to apply filters and narrow your search to positions offered exclusively by NMSU.
